On-site Computer Work

There may be times where you can't move your computer, or can't bring it in to have it serviced. In these cases, I will provide onsite service for a subset of technical issues. I will assess the problems presented and decide if on-site would be appropriate, and discuss the options with you.

Off-site General Computer Work

Application installation / removal, computer cleanup, optimization, or other general computer service.

File Recovery

Computer won't boot? Have files on the drive you don't want to lose? I have a set of software and hardware tools to attempt recovery. I cannot retrieve files from a drive that has suffered severe hardware failure.
Files will be backed up to CD / DVD.
This is a "No Guarantee" service. Each drive is a unique case, and the amount of data I am able to recover will vary.

Virus / Malware / Spyware / Adware / Scareware

Got any unwanted bugs infesting your machine? I will work to clean them up! This is a "No Guarantee" service. New bugs come out daily, and the tools I have may not be able to remove your specific problem. Sometimes the only option is to reinstall the operating system from scratch.

Computer Memory and Hardware Installation

Upgrade your memory today. Many slow computers are the result of not having enough memory.

Operating System Installation/Reinstallation

Need your system installed from scratch? Want to upgrade your current operating system? I'll help you decide which is best for your machine.

Reinstallation - REQUIRES your restoration media. OS will be fully patched.
Assumes all data will be erased, and that you have backups of the files you wish to keep.

New OS Install- Upgrade your operating system (if your system can reasonably be upgraded). You are responsible for the purchase price for Windows. Recommend clean install, but can do in-place upgrade on some systems.
All drivers installed, and OS fully patched. Previously pre-installed trials, etc will not be reinstalled.
Assumes all data will be erased, and that you have backups of the files you wish to keep.
